Devon

Well we have now arrived at our final destination Harcombe House Devon. It is a really beautiful spring evening here, sun setting over the distant hills, a real picture postcard. Harcombe House is owned and run by the firefighters charity, the house itself sits in some 320 acres of land, with magnificent views and it is within these grounds that the three bedroom bungalows are situated. The purpose of the site is mainly a rehabilitation centre for firefighters recovering from injuries or illness, but they also rent out the bungalows when available for short breaks at a reasonable cost, so that’s why we are here. Harcombe House is situated in the small town of Cudleigh, Devon some 8 miles from the coastal resort of Teignmouth and is a great position for touring Devon.
It was then after a short rest it was off out to get some food, just down the road to where we are staying there is a very nice pub called the Highwayman’s Haunt which serve some excellent food, read my review on yelp.com on my return, just lookup bobrouse.20110325-082919.jpg
